Hooray!

Again, something that has nothing to do with Australia, but is an important aspect of my life.....
As many of you know, I applied to be an RA next year at Simpson. I had my interview online via skype because I was not at Simpson during interviews due to the fact that I was getting ready to leave for Australia. Well, I felt that my interview was super dooper awkward because the skype was glitching and they had to call me, but they left the webcam on so it was them watching me answer their questions over the phone and me watching them pass the phone around asking questions. I also felt that some of my answers came out sounding a bit cheesey. But despite all these feelings that I felt, I got the job!! I am going to be an RA on third floor Irwin (the freshman dorm, for those non-Simpsonites reading this blog) and my co-RA will be a girl named Emily. I will probably be in the same room I was in this year (haha). I am super excited to work with Emily and just to be an RA in general.
